Velisana is an owner-managed Swiss brand for high-quality food supplements, based in St. Gallen.
We develop clearly labelled products for people who want to support their bodies consciously – carefully formulated, responsibly manufactured and explained in an understandable way.
Our aim is not to make the biggest possible promises. What matters to us is a comprehensible formula, transparent information and a level of quality that we can personally stand behind.

Velisana stands for carefully developed formulas and honest communication with our customers. We do not rely on short-lived trends or exaggerated claims, but on quality, transparency and comprehensible product development.
Ingredients and quantities should not be hidden behind general advertising statements. That is why we value clear declarations and make additional information, certificates and selected documents openly available.
Who is behind Velisana
My name is Michael Schindin. I have lived and worked in St. Gallen for more than ten years and founded Velisana with the aim of developing food supplements in a clearer, more transparent and more responsible way.
The starting point was the search for a suitable supplement for myself and a few friends. We wanted a high-quality formula with carefully selected plant extracts, clearly stated quantities and sensibly added micronutrients. However, a composition that met our expectations was not available on the market in this form.
The more closely I looked at existing products, the clearer it became that many formulas were very general, confusingly composed or inadequately explained. This led to the decision to develop our own formula together with an experienced Swiss manufacturing partner.
The result is Velisana Silhouette: a product with a comprehensible formula, openly stated quantities and a quality standard for which I take personal responsibility.
I only want to offer products under the Velisana name that I would use myself and recommend in good conscience to people in my personal circle.
Development and manufacturing
Velisana Silhouette is manufactured in Switzerland by Gelpell AG in Gähwil. The company specialises in the development and production of high-quality food supplements.
The manufacturing partner supports the process from the selection and testing of raw materials through blending and capsule production to quality assurance, documentation and release of the finished product.
Gelpell AG is certified according to FSSC 22000. This internationally recognised food safety standard covers, among other things, regulated processes, hygiene requirements, risk assessments and documented quality controls.
This allows us to combine our product idea with Swiss manufacturing expertise, controlled processes and clear quality requirements.

We do not want to develop products that stand out mainly through exaggerated claims. What matters to us is a carefully composed and comprehensible formula.
Transparency
We openly state which ingredients are included and in what quantities. Certificates, studies and selected manufacturer documents are made available wherever they help provide context.
Responsibility
Food supplements do not replace a balanced diet, exercise or a healthy lifestyle. That is why we deliberately avoid unrealistic promises of effect.
Suitable for everyday use
A product must be easy to understand and simple to integrate into daily life. Velisana stands for clear daily routines that support rather than burden.
