Velisana is an owner-managed Swiss brand for high-quality food supplements based in St. Gallen.
We develop clearly labelled products for people who want to support their bodies mindfully – carefully formulated, responsibly manufactured and clearly explained.
Our aim is not to make grand promises. What matters to us is a formula that is easy to understand, transparent information and quality we can personally stand behind.

Velisana stands for carefully developed formulas and an honest relationship with customers. We do not follow short-lived trends or make exaggerated claims; we focus on quality, transparency and a development process that is easy to understand.
Ingredients and quantities should not be hidden behind general marketing claims. That is why we value clear labelling and openly provide additional information, certificates and selected documents.
The person behind Velisana
My name is Michael Schindin. I have lived and worked in St. Gallen for more than ten years and founded Velisana with the aim of developing food supplements with greater clarity, transparency and responsibility.
It began with a search for a suitable food supplement for myself and a few friends. We wanted a high-quality formula with carefully selected plant extracts, clearly stated quantities and sensibly added micronutrients. However, no formulation on the market met our expectations in this form.
The more closely I examined existing products, the clearer it became that many formulas were very general, poorly structured or inadequately explained. This led to the decision to develop our own formula together with an experienced Swiss manufacturing partner.
The result is Velisana Silhouette: a product with a comprehensible formula, openly stated quantities and a standard of quality for which I personally take responsibility.
I only want to offer products under the Velisana name that I would use myself and recommend with a clear conscience to people close to me.
Development and manufacturing
Velisana Silhouette is manufactured in Switzerland by Gelpell AG in Gähwil. The company specialises in the development and production of high-quality food supplements.
Our manufacturing partner supports the process from selecting and testing raw materials, through blending and capsule production, to quality assurance, documentation and release of the finished product.
Gelpell AG is certified according to FSSC 22000. This internationally recognised food safety standard covers controlled processes, hygiene requirements, risk assessments and documented quality controls, among other areas.
This is how we combine our product concept with Swiss manufacturing expertise, controlled processes and clear quality requirements.

We do not want to develop products that stand out mainly because of exaggerated claims. What matters to us is a carefully formulated and comprehensible composition.
Transparency
We openly state which ingredients are included and in what quantities. We provide certificates, studies and selected manufacturer documents where they help put the information into context.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet, exercise or a healthy lifestyle. That is why we deliberately avoid unrealistic promises about effects.
